The organization Aurora Lights works to fight against mountaintop removal, the most violent and destructive method of coal mining, which destroys mountains, streams, and communities throughout Appalachia. Aurora Lights has now put out two CDs featuring Appalachian artists who stand strong and hopeful in spite of the horrible practice of mountaintop removal.

The music is absolutely fantastic and beautiful. Please don't let stereotypes get in the way, this is something you don't want to miss out on!
