SMALL STEPS brand, 100% recycled paper goods

Marcal's SMALL STEPS brand produces 100% recycled paper goods such as paper towel, tissues, t-paper, napkins. Supermarkets like PUBLIX, SWEETBAY, and WALMART should carry SMALL STEPS paper goods - if they don't, ask the store manager. Most managers will happily put a call into their headquarters for you and make sure they get the product on their shelves. They want to put your shopping dollars to work and make you happy. After all, you're the consumer!

Adam Werbach president of the Sierra Club calls it "ENVIRONMENTALISM THROUGH CONSUMERISM" . When everyone starts using 100% recycled paper products and stops killing trees, mega-brands like Bounty and Charmin will have to respond to customer demand for paper goods that don't cut down live trees... this saves old growth forests, reduces CO2 and keeps paper waste out of land fills.

Re: SMALL STEPS brand, 100% recycled paper goods

Why haven't companies been doing this for years? Marcal is a fairly large brand name producer of household paper products but I think some financial problems could have forced them to try 'something different'. The fact that Marcel's products are not fully distributed shows the company could be in crisis. I hope they can grab a hold of this niche market and make it work for them so the other major household paper producers will have to stop take notice.

I have just started to see the Small Steps items in the store. I will definitely be picking some of these up.
