A promising energy source in the future

I think bio fuels are good options for our future. Being a renewable energy sources, a bio fuel is produced from living organisms or from metabolic by-products (organic or food waste products). Because it is derived from the photosynthesis process, a bio fuel is often considered a solar energy source.

Methane is going to be a huge source of renewable energy in the near future. As long as we have waste, we'll have the foundation for producing methane.

less methane in the atmosphere would help with ozone depletion too!

Re: A promising energy source in the future

There are so many news and information available about biofuels but when speaking about the practical issues and advantages related to it we can say quite a lot about biofuels. The first and foremost thing about biofuels as per the recent survey taken about the encouragement given to countries to promote biofuels and make less use of oils, is that the production of third-generation biofuels is increasing especially those made from Algae because the production of biofuel from these is 30 times more than other biofule sources.

I agree with that. I think it will be one of the best options (and the most efficient also?) of biofuel sources.
Algae fix the sunlight and carbon dioxide very fast. They multiply very fast; they double their weight many times a day. Algae can grow anywhere, including in sea water, adulterated water or even in sewage, also under the circumstance with extreme temperature.
Algae produce oil as a byproduct of photosynthesis. They can produce fifteen times more oil per acre than other plants such as corn and switch grass.
