The biofuel controversy

Some biofuel's opponents claim that biofuels are "even worse than fossil fuels"; biofuels production is driving millions of poor people into starvation. It's because good farmland is used to raise biofuels crops instead of food, creating food shortages and increasing food prices. What do you think?

Re: The biofuel controversy

Biofuels are considered easy to use, but not always easy to find. There are at least two questions asked by the opponents: are there enough farm and crops to support a switch to biofuels, does producing biofuels use more energy than they can generate?
