Re: Excellent Water Filter Resource

Sounds ok but I have several questions that I would expect to be cleared up before I went out and dropped almost 5 grand on a filtration/softener system... I notice that all of these units clame to remove clorine from the water, what happens to the chemicals once the unit is removed and tossed out to go to the landfill. As I see nothing on the companies website that says they reclaim and recycle their used filters? It's a good thing to want clean water. It's a better thing to not want to use bottled water but when you make a decision to use filtered water over bottled water what poisons are you sending to landfills that will leach into the environment? Tap water is fine... And if we fight to have poisons removed at a corporate level then we won't need filters. Clean our world and our water becomes clean.

Hmm, 5k is a lot to drop on a water purifier  . I would probably stick with the $250 systems just for my drinking water.

Wouldn't the chlorine just evaporate from the filters as a gas? :ugeek:
