Use a shopperbasket and stop getting plastic bags.

Bring a shopping basket when you go shopping and never take wasteful plastic bags from the stores.I found the best and most effective way of doing this is to have a shoppers basket. http://www.shopperbasket.us

I wouldn't get much in a basket like that. I use the big reusable bags that the supermarket sell, they are very cheap and they last and last. I have had mine for several years now.

I wouldn't be able to get a days groceries in that, never mind a whole week's worth!

I'm glad it isn't just me Stav, maybe in other countries they shop more often than we do.

I agree with Deltic! It sounds like a great product, but the re-usable shopping bags are far more useful. You can carry a TON of groceries in there (if you maneuver it just right) and despite how cheap they are, they're really, really, really durable. I guess they really mass-produce that stuff because they're trying to encourage people to use them. Unfortunately, people will continue to use plastic because it's more readily available. *sigh*
People have often told me that I have an unhealthy relationship with my thermostat, but they're WRONG. XP
