Carbon Offsetting
So... what do you think. There is quite a business growing up around this concept... is it really a great idea? or a way for the unscrupulous to make money from the guilt of conspicious consumers?
Is the ability to 'offset' your carbon footprint by giving money to companies that promise to plant trees in your name or whatever, a good thing we should all make use of, or just a way for the idle rich to feel good about themselves while they continue to spend and waste at the same rate as always?
