The Lionfish, a big problem waiting to happen.

If I haven't made my self clear yet I hope this article will help. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=111695369&ft=1&f=1025. There is a connection between everything on this planet. From plants to animals, volcanos to the oceans everything is connected. The Lionfish is just one example of how a species introduced to an ecosystem that never had this species can upset the entire balance of the ecosystem and cause irreparable harm. Now this is a case of Adding a species but there are also cases where removing a species can be just as devestating. Something to think about.

Another example of a species invading an ecosystem is the Python population that has taken over in the Everglades of Florida. It used to be the alligators were at the top of the food chain. Not anymore.
