Re: The survival of the fittest

yes short the king james version of the bible is "translated" from ancient Scrolls. and just as we do now when writing first appeared people like aesop would write parables that told stories of how things should be and what happened in the past that created the things we see. Ever hear the one about how the elephant got his trunk? The fact of the matter is that had it not been for King James and his monks the religion you see before you would look much different then it did in the 1600's (1611 to be exact.) and beyond.

Of course as with any thing when one translates, copies or paraphrases things get lost, changed and rearranged to suit the writers agend. we have all seen it in this forum where you have taken my words out of context or omitted words for your own gain.

Now you asked me where I get my moral value from... I think you call it a code. As I said... I adopted my moral code from the various world religions. where would you have thought I adopted it from? A chickens Ass? ( If kids are reading this then their parents should have better control over what they view. My children don't view these sites) You knew when you asked the question that there were religious ramifications of the question.

Now instead of wasting my time dealing with you I plan on talking about the environmental things here. Thanks for the diversion but now I must occupy my mind with more stimulating things like if you fart in a lake do the fish smell it?

Re: The survival of the fittest

By your previous post, you thought that King James wrote the Bible didn't you? You completly made a ass of yourself and by your own words you condem yourself. I feel sorry for you Urban.

Urban States:"Of course as with any thing when one translates, copies or paraphrases things get lost, changed and rearranged to suit the writers agend. we have all seen it in this forum where you have taken my words out of context or omitted words for your own gain."

Once again you make a statement and want everyone to accept it as fact. Now tell us what is missing and what has not been translated properly, what was rerranged to suit the authors? Let's see how you fix your words here.

Here is your statement James the great king of England that he was, sure did know how to write a great story I do have to admit. I mean come on they made a movie about it... "The greatest story ever told" I think the title says it all. (you are telling me and the world that you think that James wrote the Bible, how embarassing )

Re: The survival of the fittest

Short no I did not think James wrote the bible. I figured it would be easier to state King James version... as he was the one who approved the text as it was written. Some people call it the Editor in Chief... Either way... See it how you want. I could care less.

And as for telling you where things were omitted, changed or otherwise rearranged to suit the authors agenda I would rather you show me proof that they weren't. You can't just as I can't tell you were they were. Ive got a better Idea... give up. Why don't you go answer my questions in the nuke catagory... Huh??? I've been waiting for two weeks.
you can't because you know you will have to admit the truth

Because you Urban, are the one who made the accusations of errors and omissions. You keep putting your foot in your mouth and are unable to answer. I hate to see a grown man cry,as you do when you know you have stepped into something you know nothing about. I think you should just stick to dumpster diving. That is what you do best, rummaging thru trash, because thats what you talk,no substance or thought to what you put for all to see. I hear you screaming uncle all the way here in Texas. :JUMP:

I second that! There are enough forums out there to debate about religion.
