My first ever compost pile......I'm so proud of myself. Being from Oklahoma, USA living green is a rare thing. I've saved cans for years to help projects and being an outdoor person it's necessary to save and recycle everything taken into nature and campgrounds. I am almost a vegetarian but eat meat occasionally. The tortoises in my backyard love veggies so I get unused produce from a local grocer and I keep a few of the better quality items for myself. One of my more memorable dumpster diving experiences was the day I searched through the trash behind the store where I worked for my "lost" set of dentures. I later found them at home (it was only my four front teeth, not the whole mouthful).
