I call myself Lilgreen because I'm only a little green. A better description is frugal. I use both sides of paper before shredding. I turn off the lights in the house because I'd rather save the money for watering the yard or turning down the A/C. I plan trips out so I am getting the best use of my tank of gas - so it is longer before I have to stop & pay for another tank. I am the original owner of a 2000 Lincoln Town car with 57,000 miles on it. I plan on driving it until it cost me too much to keep it up. It's paid for and a long way from needing to be crushed. I have a compost bin in the backyard for the main purpose of using on my yard to help keep the yard green.

The money I save by being a little green is used for nice(er) vacations and mostly to reach the goal of getting my house paid off in the next 5 years. For me to be more green, I need to have immediate savings from being that way. I have no interest in paying more to save an environment that I do not believe needs saving. From an airplane or photos shot from the moon, the earth looks pretty green to me.
