Charging an electric car in 10 minutes?

Normally it takes overnight to fully charge an electric vehicle. These guys of MIT are trying to build an electric vehicle which can be fully charged in ten minutes. If they are successful in their effort, the main problem that keep the electric vehicles from being mass produced will be solved. They expect to finish the car around the third quarter of 2010.

Re: Charging an electric car in 10 minutes?

I didn't see anywhere in the article how long the charge would last under normal driving conditions. Looks like it can store a great deal of energy though. We'll have to follow this development!
