computer parts

I live in Pennsylvania. Are there particular organizations that will recycle computer parts? I would like to do this instead of throwing them in the trash.
Thanks!

There is a place near Carlisle PA that recycles computer parts called The Computer Barn. You might want to check them out.

Yeah, it's a great idea! The only expense for selling recycled computer parts is pickup/delivery (maybe) and testing to verify the part works properly. I'm sure they put it through a rigorous testing procedure.

You might try this website:

I just googled it so I don't know for sure if it works, but hope it does!

Re: computer parts

Some private organizations sometimes pick up this stuff, too. It helps them get a little money. You'd have to check and see which ones do that, though. We have them here off and on.

Yes I think there are regional depot you can dispose of computer equipment, there certainly is where I live. I get through alot of computer equipment a year and have to drive 15 miles to dispose of my old computer equipment.
