The Greener Side of Disposable Tableware, never thought of it.. but that's good right? I mean all those years we thoguht disposable tableware was bad then now there's a green side of it

PET and PP plastics are one thing and I consider them green because most places will take them for recycling but if you are talking about the forks and knives that are made from PS (#6) then nope not green no matter how much "recycled" content they contain. We are trending in the right direction though.

A late, lamented, favourite restaurant of ours had a recycling center at the back where there were bins for everything you used for your meal. I had never seen a bin for plastic table wear before.

In the last while I've noticed a different kind of disposable "silverware" from caterers. I wonder if it may be corn-based like some drinking glasses I've started to see?
